For me, Barbera isn't always the easiest grape to come from Italy, too often it comes across as a bit too much. The Ornati from Parusso, on the other hand, is one of the examples that, thanks to a four-month kiss from the oak, reflects this noble touch of the house . The first impression is very floral, followed by some darker red fruits with an attractive liqueur taste, cherry juice is the most appropriate description for it. On the palate there is a hint of fine tannins that tie together a delicate overall package and make it the perfect companion for this time of year.
