The 2014 Shiraz The Armagh is simply sensational : fresh, bold, meaty, spicy, mineral. It has a lush fruit core on the palate and is so beguilingly lavish and at the same time noblely reserved. It is an incredible delicacy, beautiful, smooth and medium-bodied at 14.1% alcohol. The aging took place over 16 months in 70% French and 30% American wooden barrels (300 liters), 85% new and the rest one year old.

Ready to drink: until at least 2040.
