Dieser Don Tommaso ist kein Mafioso, sondern eine volluminöse und zugleich elegante Selektion der besten Trauben aus dem Hause Principe Corsini. Gran Selezione ist die neue Spitze der Qualitätspyramide im Chianti Classico und wird nur in den besten Jahrgängen produziert.
Leuchtendes Rubinrot mit feinem granatroten Schimmer. Zeigt in der Nase zunächst feine würzige Noten von Zedernholz und Kardamom, dann Brombeere und Kirsche, einladend. Am Gaumen sehr elegant und geschliffen, reiche Kirschfrucht, gepaart mit Noten von Granatapfel und Goji-Beeren, öffnet sich mit viel feinmaschigem, sehr gut platziertem Tannin, elegant und lang mit tänzerischem Schwung.
