Capichera's Assajé is an elegant red wine from Sardinia made from 95% Carignano and a touch of Syrah. It has a deep red color with garnet reflections that fascinate the eye.
On the nose it presents a rich bouquet of red and black fruits such as cherries, blackberries and blackcurrants, accompanied by spicy notes of pepper, cloves and nutmeg. On the palate it is powerful and full-bodied , with supple tannins and a remarkable acidity that is perfectly balanced with the fruitiness of the wine. The finish is long and persistent, leaving a pleasant feeling of warmth and complexity.
It goes perfectly with hearty dishes such as lamb or game as well as rich pasta dishes or cheese.
