The Loire Valley has many wines that are little known to us and, in addition to the well-established Crémant producers such as Bouvet Ladubay, there is also the Cabernet Franc grape variety. She is the red wine queen in the Valley of Castles and Dominique Joseph, known as Pélo, is one of the most tireless producers in this great region.
The Pélo stands out with its remarkable complexity and liveliness, which skilfully reflects the pursuit of perfection even after 30 years of taking over the family business.
I love Cabernet Franc, I adore Dominique and I always treat myself to a glass of Pélo.
