Ruedi Streuli is an odd person with an agricultural background. He lives and manages his property on the Horgener Längeberg with a breathtaking view of Lake Zurich and the Alps for people and vines. In 2001, he decided to plant 26 rows of Sauvignon Blanc vines on the Horgener Längeberg. To his surprise, Villa Efeu has become the best white wine from Horgen, with many local wines also having to compete against it.
I met Ruedi Streuli when he walked into my store countless years ago and handed me a bottle of Villa Ivy and asked me to try it. Which I did, together with a few wine friends - and other Sauvignon Blancs for comparison. The result amazed us, because the competition was not insignificant and the Villa Efeu secured the top spot on the podium, taking into account all factors such as quality, typicality, presentation and price.
Since then it has been an integral part of my range and it goes without saying that I have exclusive rights with such a small production quantity: This unique Sauvignon Blanc Villa Efeu is only available at MeinWein.

Delivery usually takes place within 3-6 working days of receipt of the order. By courier (Vinolog or post) or personally through MeinWein by arrangement.
