Paolo Scavino's Barolo Prapò 2017 offers a rich fruity fullness with black plums, black currants, iron ore, spices and smoked spices. A powerful and opulent wine that gets its fruit from Serralunga d'Alba. The vines in this location were replanted in 2008 and the fruit shows depth and authenticity thanks to their advancing age. The lingering mineral notes of rust and iron give the wine a sense of this unique place. The finish is powerful and of impressive length.
