Outside the famous and expensive DO region Ribera del Duero lies the idyllic village of Coruna del Conde with just 132 inhabitants. This circumstance enabled the Gomendio family to fulfill their big dream of owning their own bodega in 2006.

The Spanish inland heat takes its toll on many wines, but here, at around 900 meters above sea level, the surprisingly cool nights mean that the daytime temperatures result in deep wines with a special note of zest.
