This rich, velvety 2017 L'Edre offers notes of gravel and pencil shavings and complexity of ripe, dark fruit. This top cuvée made from 60% Syrah, 25% Grenache, 10% Carignan and 5% Mourvèdre is matured for 18 months in used Bordeaux barrels. It's full-bodied and plush , almost creamy in texture, but has a huge fruit presence and a long, elegant finish.
