This striking, traditional Reserva from La Rioja Alta has always been part of MeinWein's core range and offers the opportunity to own a small masterpiece. La Rioja Alta is and remains a mystery. Despite its fairly large production, the quality is exorbitantly high and the Spanish feeling couldn't be more intense.
An additional reason for Robert Parker's masterful assessment is the almost perfect weather in 2016. All grapes were brought in in perfect condition and under optimal conditions. The result is an impressive wine in the style of classic Rioja , of which there are only a few producers left today.
